About a first meeting full of excitement and love
Identity: Cisgender lesbian woman
Region: Kazan
Our first meeting was at my place in early October. Until that day, we had only been texting. It was incredibly nerve-wracking because we were about to see each other in person for the first time. But I was already head over heels for her.
We were lying down, looking at each other. I kept talking a lot, trying to shake off the awkwardness, while she, on the contrary, preferred to stay silent and listen attentively. But her gaze kept drifting to my lips, and I knew that our first kiss was about to happen. I wasn’t ready for it at all—after all, this was our very first meeting!
We kept getting closer and closer, and I realized that the moment was inevitable, that I wouldn’t be able to resist, and then… she kissed me! In the end, we couldn’t tear ourselves away from each other for the rest of the time, until it was time to leave.
We stood at the bus stop. An autumn evening. Warmth and two people in love. And then, she shyly said, “I like you.” It was so thrilling and soooo magical! Then we waited for the bus, wrapped in each other’s arms, and it was the best thing that could have happened on a first date. And she is the best thing that could have happened in my life.
Before that, we hadn’t been talking for very long and didn’t know each other well, but for some reason, I was sure that things would work out between us. And since then, I have never once regretted this spontaneity. Before we met, I couldn’t have imagined that it would lead to such a great love.
